Miriam Mahood is a RCM Examiner who examines extensively throughout Canada & the USA, & who adjudicates regularly for the Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, & British Columbia Music Festival Associations. She has been employed by such institutions as Alberta College, The Banff Centre, Universities of Manitoba & Alberta, Western Board of Music, & Winnipeg Bible College. Ms. Mahood is a graduate of the Hochschule 'Mozarteum' Salzburg, Austria (Konzertdiplom), Universities of Alberta & Saskatchewan ( M. Mus & B. Mus), & is an Associate (ARCT) of the Royal Conservatory of Music, & an Associate (AMUS) & Licentiate (LMUS) of the Western Board of Music. For many years Ms. Mahood was the Scholarship Chair, & served on the Ball Committee, of the Johann Strauss Foundation. Ms. Mahood has given concerts in Austria, Germany, Bangladesh, as well as in Canada & the USA. She has served as Organist & Choir Director for various churches over the years, most recently at St. Georges Anglican. Ms. Mahood runs a successful Piano Studio which she founded in 2006. Her hobbies are hiking, languages, & travel.
